There’s a fairly new group that’s started up, a spooky/goth social group (shopping announcements allowed as well, but there’s a lot of angling towards more than just that), The Eldergoth Macabre.  As one of their activities, they ran a PinUp Calendar contest (submissions ended last night, I got mine in just under the wire), I decided to make a go for August (I wanted to do February first, but couldn’t find a sim that existed any more for the backdrop I wanted, even after trolling assorted travel blogs, back far enough so many of the places they featured didn’t exist anymore…though it helped none that there was a sim that used to exist that was PERFECT in every way, and I’m still all sadface about it being gone, years later).  And what says August more than melting in the sun, but refusing to admit it?

This wasn’t even quite the sim I was looking for, but it worked well enough (there’s really only the one Egyptian temple, but it does have some quite lovely sphinges, and not a bad view from the side with the crocodile either).  It’s also a RP sim, so I snuck over there when it was empty for my pictures, so as not to disturb.  I’m always a bit hesitant to go to RP sims- they tend to have lovely and amazing builds….but Alle tends to not fit so well with most of them.  Even when she isn’t trolloping around in underwear.
