First off!  A HUGE ENORMOUS THANK YOU to Charlemange Allen for giving me a bunch of suggestions for places to take pictures.  After spending a couple of days visiting them and trying to figure out which one was best for my purposes, I ended up at this fine purveyour of aircrafts’ hanger, and it worked quite well. This is my favourite hair from Hair Fair this year.  It’s from Fashionably Dead (on Iridium for the duration of the fair), and the moment I saw the first teaser I knew that I really wanted to be an airplane mechanic (it’s also kickass for assorted steampunk fun, obviously).  The texturing on this hat is very seriously fabulous, perfect cracked leather and sheepskin and metal and glass.  Toast always makes amazing hair, and this year’s offerings were no exception- there are also some fantastic messy braids, a totally 80s side ponytail, and a great undercut. I’m wearing some new and some not-so-new things with it.  The shirt is new from Pig, and as always Appy’s rumpled unbuttoned casuals are love.  The socks you can’t really see are new birdie socks from ~silentsparrow~, and have the cutest chubby quail you ever will see under the bloomers (which are not-new ~silentsparrow~ from the Datura set, and come with such a nice high waist option).  No accessories because you wouldn’t want to get your bracelet caught in an engine (trust me on this one), but plenty of tattoos because you don’t have to worry about those!  The lips and chin tattoo should be quite recognizable as Miss Shippe’s from the last post, and the rest are of course more ~silentsparrow~.  And the boots are my current on and off obsession from Lassitude&Ennui.
